INTERNATIONAL FAST HALF- Level 2 (kilometers)

Take the proven FAST FALL approach and apply it to longer distances- long and short intervals at faster than race pace- this is how to make your goal half marathon pace feel easy!

A FASTER half marathon is possible without overloading yourself & with putting recovery as a priority. FAST HALF has a focus on HIGH quality speed workouts plus all the necessary strength and endurance components, all while prioritizing recovery, to run your strongest and fastest half.

Level 2 is for you, if:

• you have some experience with interval and tempo workouts through a training cycle.
• your previous half marathon pace is faster than your typical everyday easy run pace.
• Completing the distance is not a challenge in itself- you are looking to improve upon previous races with more intense workouts and consistent training
• you are able to do a long run of 1:30 total time at the start of the plan and the longest run is 22 km with a workout

FAST HALF- Level 2 includes:

• 12 week plan to prepare & taper for a half marathon
• 2 weekly workouts + long run OR 1 mid-week workout + long run workout
• 4-5 days of running per week + optional cross-train day
• About 50-70 km per week- estimate based on the amount of time run during the week. Volume can vary significantly depending on if you run the minimum or maximum volume and easy run pace.
• 1 Form Focus every week to help you improve your form & run more efficiently
• 1 Training Concept each week
• Detailed notes explaining workouts & how to execute properly
• 100+ page guide with notes on everything that will help to make your training a success, including: form, effort, race strategy and mentality, logistics, etc
• Private Facebook group to answer questions, encourage and interact
• Email access to coaches (Kim and Tyler) for questions, adaptations, adjustments, etc.
• Easily adaptable for scheduling, volume, intensity
