FAST HEART RATE TRAINING is an 18-week heart rate based training plan. This program is designed to build your aerobic base so you're running at lower heart rates for easy running & retraining your body to become more efficient so that you can run faster for longer and at a lower heart rate! All workouts are prescribed 100% on heart rate to help you train at the right intensity for your body to make your training as effective as possible. This program has a speed and base building focus, starting at lower volume so that we can effectively establish your base with low heart rate easy running, and progressing to a more “all around” training- still a heavy focus on speed throughout but also incorporating more threshold and steady running to be able to race anything from 5k to half marathon.
The variety of workouts and effort-based coaching help you to equate heart rate zones to your body’s effort level so that you learn to train at the right intensity by feel rather than forever monitoring your heart rate data. This will completely change how you train & race!
FAST HEART RATE TRAINING is 110 pages with a form focus and a training concept each week so that you learn to become a better and more efficient runner. It has a lot of additional content with tools and concepts to enhance your training and racing.
